Our Mission
My two boys (Oliver and Cooper) and I established Caring Gamers, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in the San Francisco Bay area that provides therapeutic recreation in the form of gaming entertainment for kids with cancer. We started this organization to provide complete gaming set-ups, as well as gaming training, to underprivil
My two boys (Oliver and Cooper) and I established Caring Gamers, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in the San Francisco Bay area that provides therapeutic recreation in the form of gaming entertainment for kids with cancer. We started this organization to provide complete gaming set-ups, as well as gaming training, to underprivileged kids undergoing cancer treatment or the like in an effort to provide these children and their families some relief from their current situation.
Way too often, children and their families face having to access cancer care inside hospitals or at an outpatient facility.
Often, the process can be isolating and scary.
During treatment, kids lose access to friends, school, and moments that typically define childhood.
Our mission is to change their experience.

We offer educational games as well as traditional, kid-friendly family games, with a focus on providing our services to underprivileged families impacted by cancer who typically would not have access to gaming.

Caring Gamers provides services across the entire San Francisco Bay area and is based in Marin County. We travel to provide our services to those in need throughout the entire Bay area, from provider facilities to homes to wherever someone needing our services is located.
